Morning-after pill Levonelle
Levonelle is a morning after pill used for emergency contraception after unprotected sex. It uses the synthetic progesterone hormone levonorgestrel as an active ingredient to prevent pregnancy. The pill (which is taken orally as a one-time 1,500mg tablet) may be effective for up to 72 hours after having sex.
